When the sun began to cast its light over the hills of Cap Haitien on November 5th, 2018, it did not just signal the beginning of a new calendar day. The evening before, the ground had been broken for the construction of the Freedom Village. What was once just a dream of Benjamin Cole’s, was now bursting into reality.
