Seeing children move out of unsafe living conditions was a big part of Benjamin Cole’s work in the Dominican Republic and something that gave him great joy. He often heard parents express their fear of the rain and their strong desire for their children to have a better future. This photo captures the end of one chapter in this precious little girl’s family’s story. Shortly after this photo was taken, they received a safe, dry place to call home.
