This teenage boy worked in a garbage dump near a Dominican community LiveDifferent partners with. Many of the residents of La Union spend their days collecting recyclables to earn less than $2 per day. Benjamin Cole would routinely express how unfair it was that poverty like this existed in today’s day and age, and how important it is for each of us to acknowledge the responsibility we all have to lighten the load of others.
